The Settings window opens from the menu bar or a fixed shortcut. Edit > General Settings (Alt+F9) opens the Settings tab, Edit > Interface Settings (Alt+F10) the Interface tab, Edit > Keyboard Settings (Alt+F11) the Keyboard Setting tab, Edit > Export Settings (Alt+F12) the Export tab, and Help > About (Alt+F1) the About tab. These five shortcuts cannot be rebound, and they also switch tabs while the window is already open.

The Settings window open on the Settings tab, its five tabs — Settings, Interface, Keyboard Setting, Export, About — across the top, the closed Manual Remesh, Auto Remesh, Voxels, Memory Settings, Miscellaneous Settings and Mouse Settings accordion bars below, and the Save, Revert and Cancel row at the bottom
The Settings window's five tabs, each reachable by its own Alt+F-key shortcut.

Every control takes effect as you change it — a color drag updates the viewport while you drag — but nothing is written to disk until you click Save. Every tab except About ends with the same row: Save saves all settings and closes the window; Revert returns to the last saved state without closing; Cancel (or Esc, or the window's close button) returns to the last saved state and closes. The Settings tab also has Restore Defaults, which resets every setting on all tabs, including colors — still only a preview until you click Save.

Two things on the Interface tab save straight away instead: the Numerical sliders: choice, and the UV grid's Make Default button.
